Rockstar Bar in the 'burg of williams started off pretty interesting, some bird with Ricky Powell got wrapped-up for a markertag by them boys in the unmarked (HA, there is a God). Luckily, they weren't after the reefer, the smoke was heavy-set like the buffet-line at the Golden Corral. Too much of that Kushmanzadah and the Diezel Washington, made for a rather sedate (packed) crowd, but
DJ Schoolboy had the hits spinning, winding-up the crowd-up to a light shoulder lean as the greenery kept piling-on. Everybody leaning but highed-up, happy and fly, the party percolated...
Skotch Davis warmed it up and got some of the piff-passers to get off asses - the rest to high to move (too much piff, DAD) but goodtimes were blazing.
Action Bronson got off some bars, repping Queens heavy-duty, with their brand of street scenarios spiced with and raps about dining al fresco in the outer boroughs. A well-sauced
Team Facelift(duck down) followed with a short-but-sweet set, premiering their new track
Re-Elect Dinkens - a scathing tale of New York's rap hey-dey, when the streets were street, and the crack-heads on the bowery didn't wear dirty denim and shades. Facelift mashed-up a few more tracks - dancing up a frenzy in an attempt to pump-up a truly blunted crowd of happy custies, cronies and misfits just about ready for ZZZZZZZ. Me and the Facelift gang rode-out in and hit the streets hard (which is why we don't fly high in the night, that purp is the evening ruiner). It's a wrap...
